As the Principal of KoonsCo’s Land & Ranch Division, Tom oversees the division’s strategic growth and specializes in land brokerage across the state of Texas. With a career spanning back to the late 1970s when he began with the Hank Dickerson Company, Tom's expertise lies in business development, deal execution, and small business operations. His journey is marked by the dynamic evolution of the Tom Koons Company (TKC), which initially started as a land brokerage firm in 1985. Over the years, TKC diversified into various sectors, including technology, manufacturing, consulting, and long-haul shipping and logistics.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Tom has dedicated decades to implementing ranch and wildlife programs on his multi-generational ranch in central Texas. He is a charter member and former president of the Neils Creek Wildlife Management Association, which has expanded to encompass 24,000 acres and 150 landowners across central Texas.

Tom has served on North Dallas Bank and Trust board since 2016.
